Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking an entry-level Wind Technician Level 1 to join the TOP Wind Service Technician Development Program. You will receive comprehensive safety and mechanical training and work as part of a service team at a wind site near home, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on turbine equipment.

Successful candidates will complete onsite safety training, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to reliable operation and uptime.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures
• Willing to travel up to 25%
