Nordex North America is seeking a Service Technician I to ensure safe and efficient operation of wind turbine generators at our sites in the United States. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, and maintain detailed service records while supporting site operations.

This role requires 0-2 years in wind energy or related fields, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights. Valid license and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; wind energy preferred.
• 0-2 years in wind energy or related field.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid driver's license and travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine wind turbine maintenance and basic repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment under guidance of experienced techs.
• Complete maintenance reports and track work tickets.
• Support inventory, parts, and tools management.
• Prepare tools and documentation for scheduled work.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE inspections.
• Maintain records of turbine performance.
• Collaborate with team and support site operations.
