Job summary

Nordex North America is seeking a Service Technician I to support wind turbine operations, maintenance, and safety compliance. You will work with a team to ensure high availability of turbines and accurate recordkeeping for service activities.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with 0-2 years in wind energy or related fields; hands-on use of hand and power tools is essential. Ability to work outdoors, climb towers, and travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/wind energy/engineering education preferred.
• 0-2 years of wind energy or related maintenance experience.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine wind turbine maintenance and basic repairs according to procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues under guidance.
• Complete maintenance reports and track work activities.
