DTE Energy in Detroit area seeks a disciplined Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to plan, coordinate, and cost out multi-week work packages for outages, maintenance, and capital projects. You will interact with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to optimize efficiency and cost, using Maximo, SAP, Documentum, EBS, and Office 365.

The role focuses on creating accurate plans, estimating resources, and maintaining schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and scheduling maintenance in electric or gas utility
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, blueprints, drawings and rigging equipment
• Strong organizational and communication skills; independent worker

Responsabilités

• Identify root causes and define work scope for daily and project work
• Develop accurate time and resource estimates for productivity
• Create step-by-step job plans for efficient work completion
• Validate estimates against actuals to improve data accuracy in Maximo
• Create and maintain multi-week schedules with milestone dates
• Assemble and validate safety notices and work packages
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and contractors
• Supervise and provide oversight for personnel and contractors as needed
