Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking Wind Turbine Major Component Exchange Field Specialists to perform large component exchanges and related field work at wind turbine sites. You will follow established procedures, maintain safety standards, and coordinate with site leadership and engineering support to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Direct turbine-specific experience required.
• MCE experience with lifting operations.
• GWO Basic Safety Training preferred.
• Ability to read safety regulations and manuals.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must have a valid ID.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to execute contractual obligations and activities on site.
• Act as a lead team member to support site work.
• Supervise field work onsite focusing on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.
• Observe and improve daily safety and task planning discussions.
• Interact with vendors and customers professionally.
• Audit Pre-task planning, JHA’s, and RA’s.
• Perform repairs or replacements of mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical components to fix malfunctions.
• Perform large component exchanges on Wind Turbine Generators (WTG).
• Oversee lifting operations following skills verification of Large Components and create/ review lifting plans.
• Occasionally conduct maintenance of equipment (Cleaning, greasing, lubrication).
• Lead and assist with other daily activities across site operations.
