Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Major Component Exchange (MCE) Technician III for remote work in the United States. Responsibilities include troubleshooting turbines, coordinating site prep, and documenting work, with frequent travel. Strong electrical/mechanical/hydraulic skills and crane/rigging knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years as Wind Turbine Technician OR 6+ years related experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, REN energy or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch / variable speed turbines.
• Coordinate site prep, labor and materials with minimal supervision.
• Document all work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Communicate site status to engineers, customers, and management.
