Job summary

Panorama Energy Services seeks an experienced Field Engineer to lead Major Component Exchange work across GE, Vestas, Acciona/Nordex, and Siemens platforms. You will diagnose field issues, develop training and processes, and guide safety and quality practices in collaboration with EHS and Methods teams.

Travel ~75% with on‑call availability, extensive field work at wind sites, and direct leadership of field crews to ensure safe, efficient project completion.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years hands‑on wind turbine experience with major component exchanges.
• Experience across GE, Vestas, Acciona/Nordex, Siemens platforms.
• Proven leadership directing field crews in high-pressure situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for field crews and leadership.
• Experience creating field processes and work instructions.
• Ability to design or fabricate small tooling solutions for field use.
• Subject matter expertise in EHS and quality aspects of wind turbine maintenance.
• Current GWO BTT/BST/ART training and ability to travel ~75% with on‑call.

Responsibilities

• Lead major component exchanges on multiple OEM platforms in the field.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in site conditions.
• Lead recovery efforts for catastrophic events with limited direction.
• Translate root causes into corrective actions and preventive programs.
• Design and deliver technician training to build competency.
• Develop field processes and work instructions with the Methods Engineer.
• Design small tooling to improve safety, efficiency, or quality.
• Act as EHS and quality SME, enforcing standards and OEM specs.
• Coordinate with EHS, Resource Managers, and project leadership on status.
