Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Lead Technician at the Lookout wind site to support day-to-day wind turbine operations and maintenance. The role involves mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance, with emphasis on safe, efficient, and reliable turbine performance under the Wind Site Manager’s supervision.

The candidate will supervise crews, train junior technicians, and ensure proper documentation of work performed, parts used, and time spent.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical or technical or 2+ years turbine experience, or 5+ years wind turbine experience.
• 1+ years of independent turbine troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to climb towers up to 300 feet and work in adverse weather.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and enforce safe work practices at wind plants.
• Inspect repairs and maintenance for quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbine equipment.
• Lead crews and train lower level personnel under Site Manager guidance.
• Document work, parts, and time using service reporting procedures.
