Job summary

OnSite Partners is seeking a Technician II to perform and lead complex troubleshooting, maintenance, component replacement, and commissioning on utility-scale wind turbines and associated collection systems. This role serves as the senior technical resource on site and may provide direction to junior technicians during preventive maintenance and repairs.

This position requires advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems across multiple voltage classes, along with

Qualifications

• Wind turbine maintenance experience of 5+ years.
• Advanced troubleshooting capability.
• Experience with medium-voltage systems.
• Ability to climb turbines (300+ feet) and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbines.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex turbine faults and recurring system failures.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control system issues.
• Analyze fault codes, SCADA data, and performance trends.
• Lead major corrective repairs and component replacements.
• Ensure proper torquing, alignment, and commissioning procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to entry-level and intermediate technicians.
