Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• Able to climb towers up to 300 feet, must work safely in confined spaces.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Demonstrable mechanical aptitude; no prior electrical experience required.
• Willing to travel as required and work in adverse climates.
• Able to edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment under supervision.
• Shadow and assist technicians in wind turbine maintenance (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical).
• Document all work, parts used, and time spent using service reporting procedures.
• Operate and maintain a service vehicle.
• Work a flexible on-call schedule including weeknights, weekends, holidays.
