Job summary

GE Vernova’s Onshore wind power capacity is growing fast, and the Wind Hub Technician role supports turbine operations, maintenance, safety, and quality control at Texas Hub sites. You will work with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract timelines and ensure GE Vernova excellence.

The position requires 1–2 years of wind tech experience or related hydraulic/electrical work, a valid driver's license, and readiness to lift up to 45 lbs and climb tall towers. This is not remote.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to lift up to 45 lbs and climb towers.
• Meet manufacturer weight limits not to exceed 300 lbs including gear.
• Understand electrical schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate wind turbine equipment at sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs or replacements to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch and speed turbines.
• Support site operations with minimal supervision as directed by manager.
• Conduct diagnostic electrical analysis and document work performed.
• Coordinate with remote operations center when needed.
