Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wind Technician to service multiple wind sites within the ME hub. The role focuses on turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repair while coordinating with site leadership on daily tasks and contract obligations.

Ideal candidates bring wind turbine experience, necessary credentials, and flexibility for rotating shifts and travel. The position offers comprehensive benefits and requires onsite presence across hub locations in Maine.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year as Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic or Wind Certificate/Associate’s in Energy; or 2 years electrical work.
• Passing Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain turbine/site equipment per contract requirements.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on wind turbines.
• Assist site operations with safety and reporting duties.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center when needed.
