Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wind Technician to support turbine operations at the wind site. The role involves daily maintenance, safety compliance, and warranty repairs, with local travel within the hub and coordination with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.

The position requires 1+ year wind experience or related training, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including on-call duties. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Wind technician experience or wind-energy training required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to climb towers up to 300 feet.
• Ability to pass a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to meet customer obligations daily.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbine equipment.
• Assist site operations with safety-conscious, supervised tasks.
• Conduct diagnostic electrical analysis and document work using service reporting procedures.
• Collaborate with GE’s remote operations center when needed.
