Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is offering TOP Wind Service Technicians who receive exclusive safety and technical training through the Global Wind Organization. This entry-level role supports local wind sites and serves as part of a service team to ensure safe, efficient turbine maintenance.

The position reports to the Program Manager and Site Manager, with a focus on safety, documentation, and reliability. A climb preview is required prior to hire, with opportunities to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to the job site.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.
• Preferred: associate’s degree in a technical/mechanical field or wind energy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.
