Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking entry-level Wind Service Technicians to join the TOP Wind Service Technician Development Program. You will receive GWO-accredited safety and technical training and operate on a service team at a wind site near your home, performing maintenance on turbine equipment.

Position reports to the Program Manager and Site Manager, with growth opportunities as you complete technical training and gain hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorship)
• Live within 1-hour commuting distance to the job site unless relocating
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
