Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking an entry-level Wind Technician for the TOP Wind Service Technician development program. You will receive exclusive training accredited through the Global Wind Organization and join a service team at wind sites, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on turbine equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to work at height, with paid training upon hire and potential advancement within Sky Climber’s growing wind power operations.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.
