Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking a TOP Wind Service Technician Level 1 to join our development program. You will receive exclusive safety and technical training through the Global Wind Organisation and help maintain wind turbine equipment at sites near your home.

As part of a service team, you’ll perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance, document work, and follow strict HSE procedures while working at height and traveling up to 25% of the time. Training is provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or wind energy discipline
• Mechanical or electrical background helpful

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow Health, Safety & Environment procedures
• Willing to travel up to 25%
