Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is offering a TOP Wind Technician Level 1 opportunity. The role provides exclusive safety and technical training accredited through GWO, with assignments at wind sites near home as part of a service team ensuring safe and efficient turbine maintenance.

You'll support preventive and unscheduled maintenance, with training across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and potential travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy discipline, or equivalent technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
