Job summary

Enel North America Inc. is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician I to inspect, troubleshoot, install components and repair wind turbines and related systems.

The role covers reviewing manuals and schematics, performing planned maintenance, and assisting higher-level technicians to bring turbines back to service. You will conduct electrical testing, calculations, and report generation, while following ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO18001 policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years related experience or training.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment (DMM, megger).
• Knowledge of electrical theory and troubleshooting techniques.
• Competency with MS Office, SQL Server, and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment to maximize generation.
• Install, test, maintain and troubleshoot minor components; assist with major components.
• Perform current and voltage calculations as needed.
• Maintain maintenance records and required documentation (LOTO, JSA).
• Support regional wind maintenance activities and QA/QC tasks.
