Job summary

Enel North America seeks a Wind Turbine Technician I to inspect, troubleshoot, install components, and perform planned maintenance on wind turbines and related systems. The role requires climbing towers, handling electrical test equipment, and supporting regional maintenance efforts.

You will work 24/7 on-call as needed, travel up to 25% to other sites, and adhere to ISO9001/14001/18001 standards. Training and safety are emphasized across tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school completion and 1+ year’s related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment (DMM, megger) and perform electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to maximize turbine generation.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot minor components; assist with major components.
• Perform electrical calculations and document maintenance activities.
