Job summary

Enel North America is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician I to inspect, troubleshoot, install components, and repair turbine subsystems. You will review manuals and schematics to determine tasks and parts, perform planned maintenance, and support other technicians in troubleshooting to return turbines to service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year of related experience or training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read schematics and manuals.
• Ability to travel up to 25% across US sites and respond to site emergencies as needed.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance to maximize generation.
• Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot minor components; assist with major components.
• Conduct current/voltage calculations and document maintenance activities.
• Adhere to Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) and JSA procedures for safety.
• Support regional wind maintenance activities and QA/QC tasks as required.
• Collaborate with Technical Support for proactive repairs and reporting.
