Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support multiple wind sites within the ND2 hub, traveling locally and reporting to site leadership. The role emphasizes safety, maintenance, and on-site repair activities for GE wind turbines.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of wind tech experience or related electrical work, with a valid driver's license and ability to work rotating shifts and be on-call. Relocation assistance is provided and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience as Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic, or completed Wind Certificate Program/Associates Degree in Energy, or 2 years of electrical work experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to execute contractual obligations.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist in all site operations with minimal supervision while following safety rules.
• Perform some diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center when needed.
