Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to join our onshore wind operations. This role requires local travel within the hub and hands-on work on turbine operations, safety, quality control, and warranty repairs.

You will partner with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements, perform diagnostics and repairs, document work, and coordinate with GE's remote operations center. A valid driver's license and a background in wind tech are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year Wind Technician/Mechanic experience, or Wind Certificate/Associates in Energy.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to meet customer requirements daily.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Document work using service reports.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center.
