Job summary

GE Vernova is hiring a Wind Technician to service wind sites within the TX16 hub. The role involves daily turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repairs, with routine coordination with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements and timelines.

The position requires 1+ year wind tech experience (or wind cert/associates) and the ability to travel locally to multiple wind sites. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; wind energy education preferred.
• 1+ year wind technician or 2 years electrical work; wind cert ok.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, or replace wind turbine components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Follow safety protocols and document work performed.
• Collaborate with Site Lead and Manager on tasks and schedules.
• Respond to GE remote operations center when needed.
