Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is offering the TOP Wind Service Technicians program in Kansas for entry-level technicians. Participants receive exclusive safety and technical training through GWO and will develop skills while working on wind turbine generators at sites near home.

The role is full-time with paid training provided, focusing on preventive and unscheduled maintenance, documentation, and safety. Candidates should be prepared to travel up to 25% and commit to safety and reliability in a

Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.
Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
Mechanical or electrical background.
Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
Accurately document all work performed.
Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
Willing to travel up to 25%
