Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables seeks a TOP Wind Service Technician as part of the Wind Technician Development Program. You will receive exclusive safety and technical training (GWO) and work on-site near your home to maintain wind turbine equipment.

Responsibilities include mechanical installations, maintenance, and documentation while adhering to HSE procedures. The role offers full-time employment with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships)
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field or wind energy (preferred)
• Mechanical or electrical background (preferred)
• Ability to read diagrams and wiring schematics (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures
• Travel up to 25% as needed
