Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Hub Technician to support turbine operations across multiple Texas Hub sites. The role requires field maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs, and coordination with site leadership to meet contract requirements.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year wind-tech experience, with flexibility for rotating shifts and travel to wind sites. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year wind technician or wind mechanic experience preferred.
• Technical certification in wind energy or electrical field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbine electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and part replacements to prevent malfunctions.
• Document work using service reporting systems.
• Coordinate with Site Lead/Manager to meet contract requirements.
