Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to support turbine operations across Texas Hub sites. This on-site role requires local travel, prioritizes safety, quality control, and timely warranty repairs, and partners with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on variable pitch and variable speed turbines, interpreting schematics and manuals, and mentoring peers while coordinating with GE's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience diagnosing wind turbine issues and performing repairs.
• Ability to pass a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine operations, safety, quality control, and warranty repair(s).
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Read and explain schematics, drawings, and manuals.
• Collaborate with Site Lead/Manager to meet contract requirements.
• Mentor peers and coordinate with remote operations center as needed.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
