Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an experienced Wind Technician to join the NM 3 Hub workforce. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbine generators, adhering to safety standards and site procedures.

You will document work and collaborate with leadership to meet contractual requirements. Eligible candidates have wind tech experience or related education, strong basic computing skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year wind technician/ wind mechanic experience or wind certificate program/ associates in energy; or 2 years electrical work.
• Passing a technical knowledge assessment.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of wind turbine components to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on variable pitch and variable speed turbines.
• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements and daily activities.
• Assist in all areas of site operations under supervision, while following safety protocols.
• Document all work in computer-based service reporting systems.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
