Job summary
Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Troubleshooting Technician- Wind to support the wind operating fleet, primarily in-field troubleshooting and return-to-service efforts. The role involves traveling within the US, partnering with site teams, and training junior technicians on troubleshooting practices.
The position requires two years of wind turbine experience or related training, ability to work outdoors, climb at heights, and lift up to 45 kg.
Qualifications
- Two years of wind turbine experience or related technical training.
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights.
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 pounds).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- US work authorization now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Travel within the US to support Invenergy sites with troubleshooting and repairs.
- Diagnose faults and repair wind turbine equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support pilot projects evaluating new equipment, tools, and processes.
- Manage deliverables and interface with internal/external parties.
- Develop operating procedures compliant with standards and regulations.
