Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Troubleshooting Technician- Wind to support the wind operating fleet with in-field troubleshooting and return-to-service efforts. You will partner with site teams to repair turbines and train newer technicians on troubleshooting practices.

The role is 100% travel for four weeks with one week off, requiring collaboration with multiple sites and contractors while following safety and regulatory standards at all times.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years wind turbine experience or related technical education/training.
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders, and work at heights >80 meters.

Responsibilities

Travel within the US fleet to support sites on various scopes including troubleshooting and repairs.
Diagnose faults and repair equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with managing deliverables and interfacing with internal/external parties.
Prepare operating procedures compliant with standards and regulations.
Lead and train site technicians in required duties.
