Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Troubleshooting Technician - Wind to support the Wind operating fleet with in-field troubleshooting and return-to-service efforts. This role involves traveling within the US fleet, partnering with site teams, and training junior technicians on troubleshooting practices.

The position is 100% travel for 4 weeks at a time with a 1-week break, requiring safety awareness, ability to work outdoors at heights, and experience with wind turbines and related software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years wind turbine experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather; climb ladders and work at heights above 80 meters.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds (45 kg).
• Valid driver’s license and US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the US fleet to support Invenergy-owned and third-party sites on various scopes of work.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support pilot projects to evaluate new equipment, tools, and processes.
• Interface with internal/external parties to manage deliverables and obligations.
• Prepare operating procedures compliant with standards and regulations.
• Lead and train site technicians on troubleshooting practices.
• QA/QC inspections across the fleet and provide improvement feedback.
