Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Troubleshooting Technician- Wind to support our Wind operating fleet, focusing on in-field troubleshooting and returning turbines to service while training newer technicians in troubleshooting practices.

The position involves 100% travel for 4 weeks with a one-week break, collaborating with site teams to perform complex repairs and ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and company standards across the US.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years of wind turbine experience or related technical training.
Able to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights over 80 meters.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record; eligible to work in the United States.
Willingness to travel 100% with 4 weeks on-site and 1 week off.

Responsibilities

Travel within the US to support Invenergy sites on varied scopes of work and complex repairs.
Diagnose faults and repair equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
Support pilot projects evaluating new equipment, tools and processes.
Lead and train technicians, manage QA/QC inspections across sites.
Prepare operating procedures and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
