Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Troubleshooting Technician- Wind to support the Wind operating fleet with a primary focus on in-field troubleshooting and return-to-service efforts. You will partner with site teams to return turbines to service while mentoring newer technicians.

This role is 100% travel for 4 weeks at a time with one week off, requiring outdoor work, climbing, and safety‑conscious practices across the US.

Qualifications

• Wind turbine technical experience or equivalent training.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights.
• Able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lb).
• Valid driver's license and US work authorization.
• Able to travel 4 weeks on, 1 week off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Invenergy-owned and third-party sites for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support pilot projects to evaluate new equipment and processes.
• Manage deliverables and interface with internal/external stakeholders.
• Prepare operating procedures compliant with standards and regulations.
• Perform QA/QC inspections across locations and provide feedback.
