Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is seeking a Field Troubleshooting Technician - Wind to support the Wind operating fleet with in-field troubleshooting and return-to-service efforts. This role requires heavy travel and coordination with site teams to keep turbines online.

You will diagnose faults, assist with pilot projects, and train junior technicians while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The position includes 4-week travel cycles with a week off and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years wind turbine troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the US fleet to support Invenergy-owned and third-party sites on various scopes of work, including advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Lead on-the-job training for site technicians and assist with QA/QC inspections.
• Prepare and implement operating procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Efficiently manage personal travel arrangements and interface with internal and external parties.
