Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Troubleshooting Technician- Wind to support the Wind fleet with in-field troubleshooting and return-to-service efforts. You will partner with site teams to restore turbines to service while mentoring newer technicians in troubleshooting practices.

This role requires 100% travel for four weeks at a time, with one week off, across the US fleet. The position involves coordinating with internal and external parties, ensuring safety, and adhering to all regulations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of wind turbine experience or relevant technical education, apprenticeship, military training, or related field experience.
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Travel within the US to support Invenergy sites on various scopes of work including advanced troubleshooting, de-rated turbines, and complex repairs.
Diagnose faults and repair equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Support pilot projects to evaluate new equipment, tools, and/or processes.
Assist with managing deliverables and contractual obligations, interfacing with internal/external parties.
Prepare and implement operating procedures compliant with standards and regulations.
