Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Troubleshooting Technician- Wind to support the Wind operating fleet with in-field troubleshooting and return-to-service efforts. This role is 100% travel across the US, with four weeks of travel followed by one week at home, and will involve leading and mentoring site technicians.

You will diagnose faults, repair equipment, support pilot projects, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards while coordinating with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Wind turbine field experience or relevant technical education.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the US to support Invenergy sites on various scopes of work.
• Diagnose faults and repair equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support pilot projects evaluating new equipment, tools, or processes.
• Lead and train site technicians in troubleshooting practices.
• Prepare procedures compliant with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform QA/QC inspections across locations and communicate improvements.
