RWE Americas, LLC in Texas seeks a Wind Farm Technician Associate to support the operations and maintenance of one or more wind farms, ensuring safety and maximizing availability. The role covers scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair activities, training, and maintaining records in the digital maintenance system.

You will assist with turbine maintenance, balance of plant tasks, and field safety, with expectations to travel to sites, climb towers, and work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Technical science degree acceptable in lieu of degree path.
• Experience with wind turbines and safety procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all O&M activities are performed safely per site policies.
• Assist in acceptance and performance tests on systems post maintenance.
• Support turbine maintenance, balance of plant tasks, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain plant tools, equipment, and records in CMMS.
• Travel to sites as needed and work independently or in a team.
