Nordex Group is seeking a Technical Advisor to support HSE compliance, quality guidance, and technical supervision for wind turbine installation and handover. You will interface with the customer and subcontractors to ensure adherence to Nordex standards and smooth project execution.

The role requires on-site work at wind farms, strong communication skills, and a solid background in mechanical/electrical fields.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Quality management and quality control processes; Wind Turbine Assembly experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in mechanical, electrical, or construction fields; Wind Farm mechanical construction experience preferred.
• WTG on-site assembly experience required.
• Excellent technical knowledge, communication skills, and ability to build positive relationships with customers and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to meet OSHA and ANSI weight limits of 265 lbs. or less.
• Must be able to spend 100% of the time at wind farms during construction.
• Driving is an essential function; valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Proactively ensure HSE compliance throughout WTG installation and finishing.
• Advise customer’s BOP contractor to meet Nordex quality standards for smooth handover.
• Provide general mechanical and electrical support to BOP contractor and Nordex contractors.
• Document and report quality or time deviations using UPVISE.
• Oversee reception, use, and handover of Nordex tooling.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure project standards.
• Assist in managing documentation for handover to customer and BOP contractor.
• Build positive relationships with customer’s BOP contractor to facilitate execution.
• Manage UPVISE Daily Progress Reports with live updates.
