Job summary

Nordex SE is seeking a Technical Advisor to support HSE compliance and quality guidance during wind turbine installation and handover. You will interface with the customer and subcontractors to ensure adherence to Nordex standards, while managing documentation and daily progress reporting.

The role requires on-site leadership, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to travel to wind farm sites as needed to ensure safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Quality management and quality control processes; Wind Turbine Assembly experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in mechanical, electrical, or construction fields.
• WTG on-site assembly experience required.
• Ability to meet OSHA/ANSI safety requirements and build customer relationships.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong communication with customers/subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Proactively ensure HSE compliance during WTG installation and finishing.
• Advise BOP contractor to meet Nordex quality standards for smooth handover.
• Provide technical support on mechanical and electrical activities.
• Document and report deviations using UPVISE system.
• Oversee mechanical works per installation instructions and tooling rules.
• Manage reception, use and handover of Nordex tooling.
• Perform inspections and quality checks (incoming goods, quality gates, walkdowns).
• Assist in handover documentation to customer and BOP contractor.
• Maintain positive customer relationships to facilitate project execution.
• Prepare and present daily UPVISE progress updates; perform other duties as assigned.
