Job summary

Duncan-Parnell, Inc. is seeking a Service Field Engineer to support its Wide Format Printing division. You will plan and coordinate printer installations, troubleshoot issues, and perform service on equipment at customer sites. Strong communication and mechanical aptitude are required to excel in this role.

The position involves on-site work, training customers on equipment use, and maintaining parts inventory while delivering excellent customer service throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, technical school, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ solid employment references from relevant sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service focus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and train on printers and scanners at customer offices to ensure full functionality.
• Analyze and troubleshoot printing equipment to locate and fix problems.
• Provide preventative maintenance as prescribed by manufacturers.
• Manage inventory control of printer parts.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and communicate clearly before on-site visits.
• Attend manufacturer training and share knowledge with the service team.
• Configure equipment defaults to customer requirements and test operations.
• Operate remote tools to connect to clients and resolve issues.
