Job summary

Duncan-Parnell Inc is seeking a Service Field Engineer to support the Wide Format Printing division. You will install and train customers on printers and scanners at their offices, and troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues to ensure full functionality.

You will manage parts inventory, maintain strong customer relationships, and participate in manufacturer training. The role requires the ability to handle local travel, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate company vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, technical school, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service focused.
• Mechanical ability.
• PC operation.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Installation and training of new or refurbished printers and scanners at customer offices.
• Analyze and troubleshoot printing equipment to determine the source of problems and perform break/fix repair.
• Provide preventative maintenance per printer manufacturer schedules.
• Manage inventory control of parts.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and communicate proactively.
• Operate remote support tools to connect to clients and resolve issues.
• Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and drive company vehicles as needed.
