Job summary

Pacific Office Automation Inc. is seeking a Wide Format Service Technician to support customers across the United States. This home-based position requires approximately 50% travel, primarily to Central and Eastern regions.

You will provide phone and on-site technical support, perform diagnostics and repairs on production print equipment, install and train customers, and coordinate upcoming installations. The role favors self-motivated, customer-focused technicians with experience on Canon wide

Qualifications

• 2–6 years minimum of field service experience.
• Experience servicing and repairing wide format equipment.
• Experience with Canon wide format print equipment preferred.
• Onyx software and RIP workflows knowledge preferred.
• Strong computer and networking knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel about 50% nationwide.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and onsite technical support to customers.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, software upgrades, and preventative maintenance on production print equipment.
• Complete equipment installations, deinstallations, relocations, and operator training.
• Follow up with customers after installations to ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate upcoming installations and site readiness requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Support sales teams with technical evaluations.
