Job summary

Mercor seeks experienced Sales Representatives (Wholesale/Manufacturing) to evaluate and improve AI-generated sales content and workflows for B2B markets. You will review conversations, quotes, and product recommendations, providing expert feedback to boost accuracy and negotiation effectiveness. The role is temporary (4–6 weeks) with task-based pay and potential hourly work thereafter.

About the Role

Mercor is hiring experienced Sales Representatives, Wholesale and Manufacturing, Except Technical and Scientific Products to help evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems. In this role, you'll evaluate AI-generated sales content and workflows, leveraging your real-world expertise in B2B wholesale and manufacturing sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated sales conversations, product recommendations, quotes, and other commercial artifacts for quality and accuracy.

• Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head based on customer relevance, negotiation soundness, and sales effectiveness.

• Review sales scenarios involving pricing, product recommendations, order handling, and post-sale support and provide expert feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Sales Representative, Account Representative, Inside Salesperson, Outside Sales Representative, Sales Consultant, or another closely related wholesale or manufacturing B2B sales role.

• Experience selling non-technical wholesale or manufactured goods to businesses or groups of individuals, with substantial product knowledge.

• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week.

• Strong written English communication skills.

• Duration: Approximately 4–6 weeks

• Payment: task-based (payment upon first task approval). Experts who complete their first task within the required timeline will then be qualified to be paid hourly for the remainder of the project.
