Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Wholesale Product Specialist to engage commercial paint customers, determine needs, answer questions, and recommend solutions. You will resolve concerns promptly and maintain product quality and visual standards while supporting store sales goals.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, stocking and tinting products, and ensuring accurate inventory and displays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a meets expectations rating in the most recent appraisal.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in making deliveries as needed.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
