Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support our retail stores by helping wholesale and retail customers, answering product questions, and recommending the right solutions.

You will handle sales transactions, strive to meet sales goals, and maintain store presentation. This role requires teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to lift items as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must have a meets expectations rating and complete HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with store policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain accurate work files and product stock; pull products as needed.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; assist in deliveries as needed.
