Job summary

iFixit is expanding to Chattanooga and seeks a Wholesale Operations Manager to own the U.S. wholesale operational execution, coordinating with Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics, Marketing, and E‑Commerce. You will manage EDI end-to-end, onboarding new retailers, and driving OTIF performance across partners.

Lead supplier data accuracy, retailer compliance, and program execution while developing scalable processes and data-driven improvements for growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in wholesale operations or similar, with national/big-box retail account experience.
• EDI ownership and retailer compliance experience.
• Self-starter with proven ability to own outcomes and close loops without reminders.
• Track record in scalable operational processes that drive efficiency and revenue.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day wholesale operations and fulfillment, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered OTIF to retail partners.
• Build and implement scalable operational workflows that support wholesale account expansion and revenue growth.
• Owns EDI end to end: new retailer connections, mapping, testing, go-live sign-off, and daily resolution of transaction errors.
• Stay ahead of each retailer's EDI requirements and changes, including new/updated transaction sets and migration deadlines.
• Serve as the primary contact with our EDI provider and retailer EDI teams, driving issues to resolution.
• Maintain EDI-dependent data in our ERP so transmissions are correct at the source.
• Explain retailer shipping, labeling, and routing standards to Fulfillment and translate into clear directions.
• Monitor OTIF, ASN accuracy, and scorecard performance; address root causes before penalties accrue.
• Lead onboarding for new wholesale retailers: vendor setup, content, training, EDI, and go-live support.
• Manage retailer portals, documentation, scorecards, and product data accuracy in portals.
• Maintain wholesale cost and price files in ERP, EDI catalogs, and retailer portals.
• Serve as the operational point of contact for wholesale customers, reps, and distributors.
• Support Sales with samples, tradeshow logistics, POP/display programs, and sales analytics.
• Own and improve operational reporting on orders, fulfillment, deductions, and retailer performance.
• Analyze sales trends and product performance to identify opportunities and risks.
• Support forecasting and demand planning in partnership with Sales and Purchasing.
• Improve reporting automation and data flows to empower wholesale decisions.
• Identify process gaps and deliver improvements; document processes and explore AI augments.
