Job summary

Carrington is seeking a Wholesale Sales Manager to lead Account Executives and manage broker relationships within a focused sales region. You will promote Carrington’s loan programs, mentor staff, and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while ensuring compliant operations across lending guidelines.

The role requires deep knowledge of FHA/VA/USDA and non‑agency products, strong leadership, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales management skills.
• Expert knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional and non-agency/Non-QM products, guidelines, and requirements.
• Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations.
• Complete understanding of credit, title, escrow, underwriting, loan processing and closing functions.
• Excellent verbal, written and communications skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2 to 5 years mortgage banking or consumer finance experience.
• Minimum 2 years in government mortgage experience.
• Previous experience as a sales manager strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Supervise and mentor staff in line with company policies and laws.
• Coach Account Executives to build broker relationships and regional objectives.
• Communicate changes in loan programs, rates and policies to brokers.
• Oversee loan submissions and ensure timely, high-quality results.
• Prepare regional sales forecasts and production projections.
• Ensure CRM and broker records are up to date.
• Review completeness of new broker applications.
• Address and resolve sales/operational issues efficiently.
