Wholesale Industrial Electronics (WIE) in North Charleston, SC, is seeking a full-time Sales/Support specialist responsible for customer service, product knowledge across data/networking, education, industrial/automation, and security lines. You will answer inquiries by phone and email, handle quotes and orders, and coordinate with inside sales.

Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required; knowledge of industrial electronics is a plus.

General Purpose of the Position:

This position provides customer service and support by having high level of understanding of the various product lines of WIE which include data and networking; education products; industrial/automation; and security products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers via telephone and email to provide support and information on products, services and order status.
• Handle requests for price quotes, credit applications, purchase orders, order adjustments and order cancellations.
• Place timely orders with vendors by computer, phone, email or fax.
• Remain current with discount structure and WIE products.
• Maintain current customer accounts, build relationships.
• Work closely with inside sales and sales reps in team environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn industrial electronic products and applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service or inside sales experience is beneficial.
• Experience with industrial electronic products is a plus.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
