Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Full-Time Sales Support specialist to assist customers, answer product questions, and provide order status updates across data, networking, education, and security product lines.

You will interact by phone and email, handle quotes, credits, and orders, and work closely with inside sales in a team environment. A high school diploma and prior customer service experience are preferred; strong communication and problem-solving

General Purpose of the Position:

This position provides customer service and support by having high level of understanding of the various product lines of WIE which include data and networking; education products; industrial/automation; and security products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers via telephone and email to provide support and information on products, services and order status.
• Handle requests for price quotes, credit applications, purchase orders, order adjustments and order cancellations.
• Place timely orders with vendors by computer, phone, email or fax.
• Remain current with discount structure and WIE products.
• Maintain current customer accounts, build relationships.
• Work closely with inside sales and sales reps in team environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn industrial electronic products and applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service or inside sales experience is beneficial.
• Experience with industrial electronic products is a plus.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
